King Soopers is the Colorado version of Kroger—it’s owned by Kroger and it’s different in name only. But I love it so much more! Most King Soopers (which Molly calls Poopers and I call Scoopers) are really grungy and horribly designed and, therefore, offer very interesting and exciting adventures during each visit. But a new one opened a year or two ago in a wealthier part of town, and when I went for the first time today, it threw me for a loop with its normalcy and whiteness. It has a Murray’s Cheese Shop outpost in it. Enough said.
