This is the Taste of the Nation Denver event I attended tonight. The $75 ticket was a gift from my parents for my birthday, and it entitled me to unlimited food and drinks from Denver’s best restaurants and alcohol makers. The event, a fundraiser for Share Our Strength, an anti-hunger organization, was a wonderful example of what Denver is capable of, foodwise. The best mini-dishes were from Al Lado, Old Major, Pinche Tacos, and Crave Dessert Bar & Lounge. But pretty much everything was top-notch. Also: so. many. white. people!
