It is well documented around these parts that I am King’s Chef’s biggest fan, in large part because of its Colorado Green Chili. The Colorado Springs restaurant pumps its amazing chili into Colorado Whole Foods locations and the owner drove up to Denver to be part of the Taste of the Nation Denver charity event tonight.
I chatted with him for a bit and showed him Emmeline’s green chili experimentation. He was quite proud his product reached New York!
(By the way, he was adamant about his product being chili, not chile, because “it is not just made from chiles and has other stuff.” This is not an opinion shared by many around here, but I suppose I owe Emmeline an apology for my snarky correction to her post.)
